To find out what version of Internet Explorer you are using, perform the following steps:

1. From the Help menu on the menu bar, click About Internet Explorer.

On later versions of Internet Explorer, such as IE 7, the menu bar is not enabled by default. To enable the menu bar temporarily, press the Alt key on your keyboard.

Information about the version you are using will be displayed.
